A little bit about me
I am an active and adventurous individual who attributes the health of my mind and body to regular massage therapy. I enjoy working with people who are interested in improving their body awareness and overall well being. Clients appreciate my sensitivity, intuitive nature and the repertoire of techniques I utilize to help them heal from both the physical and emotional impacts of stress and injury. My practice is located in the Olympic Hills neighborhood of North Seattle. I received my massage training in 2002 from the Brian Utting School of Massage (1000 hours) and have continued to learn and grow through numerous continuing education courses. My sessions combine structural assessment, injury evaluation, deep tissue, neurofascial release and craniosacral therapy.
What is Craniosacral Therapy? This gentle and yet profound technique supports your body's unique and natural ability to heal itself. It helps calm and transform patterns of stress and trauma within the nervous system and encourages musculoskeletal tissues in your body to have a more integrated, functional relationship with each other. Why do this work? It is very relaxing and balancing to the nervous system, increases the capacity for health in the immune and endocrine systems and modulates physical pain and much more. |
